PROJECT N.4
A luminous apartment in the Sempione area of Milan, always owned by the same family, is reborn with a restoration that redefines the space while preserving the historical details of the 1920s, such as the marbles, floors, window frames, and original period woodwork.
The residence thus becomes a large multifunctional loft where light circulates freely among great design classics, artworks, and collectible vases.
Particularly noteworthy is the restoration of the entrance floor, with very small Palladian marbles, now hard to find.
Castellarin, coming from a family of marble workers, has carefully preserved them.
Instead, the bathrooms have been completely redone, in Carnico gray, a highly veined black marble typical of the 1920s, and in Carrara white.
